How long does a session usually take?
A session can last anywhere from 1-2 hours, depending mainly on the kids! If they are happy we will take pictures for as long as possible, but if we have a not so happy kiddo, it may be quicker. Please note, if the session is in your home I will need extra time for set-up and tear-down of my equipment. If we are having the session at an outdoor location, we may need extra time to walk around and find several “locations” for pictures. Newborn sessions typically take a little longer. We work around their schedule!

Do you have a minimum print order?
No. I capture and preserve the memories, it’s your decision which and how many moments are special enough to become part of your family’s history.
What methods of payment do you accept?
At the present time I accept cash and checks only.
How do I proof my images?
I will post all edited images online in a password secured album. I will send you a link when they are available for viewing (usually within 7 days of your session).
How do I order prints?
At this time I am not taking online orders thru my proofing site. Orders can be e-mailed to me, or you can call me to place your order.
How long does it take for my order to come in?
Once I receive your order, prints are usually back to me in about a week, depending on retouching requests. Orders can be expedited for an additional fee – in which case prints can be back within a couple of days!
On what type of paper will images be printed?
Prints are processed in a professional lab and unless otherwise specified are printed on Kodak Endura Professional Paper to ensure your prints will endure for generations to come. Specialty and textured papers are also available for a fee.
Do you offer black and white or other color-toning options?
All images are captured in color, but can be converted to black and white, black and white with selective color, sepia, sepia with selective color, images with text, collages, and any other number of unique and creative effects.
Can you do retouching?
Yes, all photos will receive a basic retouching. Further retouching is available for a fee.
What do you charge for standard print sizes?
Gift portraits (wallets up to 8x10) range from $5 to $15. Wall portraits (10x13 and up) start at $20.

Can you design custom press-printed products such as birth announcements, greeting cards and business cards?
Yes, I can create many different types of custom press-printed items such as Greeting Cards, Birth Announcements, Thank You Cards, Postcards, Business Cards, etc. If this is a service that interests you, please let me know and we will work together to create something beautiful and unique.
Do you offer any heirloom services such as printing on canvas?
Yes, I can print on Fine Art paper as well as Fine Art Canvas.
Do you offer Fine Art Gallery Wraps?
Yes! This is an exceptional printing option that can turn a beautiful portrait into an extraordinary showpiece.
What are Fine Art Gallery Wraps?
Gallery Wraps are museum-quality canvas prints designed to turn a portrait into a work of art and lasting heirloom. Images are first printed directly on a Fine Art Canvas. The entire image is then wrapped around a wooden stretcher frame. Gallery wraps come ready to hang with hardware and finished backs. No additional framing or mounting is needed!
Do you offer wedding photography?
Unfortunately, at this time, I do not offer wedding photography.
Where are you located?
My studio is currently located in my home in Oskaloosa, IA. I will however do location sessions in most of the area and I travel to the Cedar Rapids area for session frequently! If you have questions regarding a location, please contact me!
